General Aviation Themed Park Playground

The General Aviation Theme Park Amusement Park is located in Gansu, China, covering an area of 8,000 square meters. It is a super-large flight-themed unpowered commercial outdoor amusement park. This project is fully developed by Cowboy Group, including preliminary survey, planning, design, production, installation and other processes to create an outdoor amusement park full of theme atmosphere and fun. Here, the children will plant a small flying dream during play, and start a dream journey of their own life.

Location Analysis

There are a number of China aerospace and flight bases in Gansu Province, so Gansu has strong aviation and flight characteristics. In addition, the park area is clearly positioned as a demonstration site for general aviation tourism in the west, inheriting the general aviation theme concept. Besides, the general aviation theme park playground is also planned and designed with the themes of aviation, parent-child and expansion. Based on the above location conditions, Cowboy Group will build an outdoor playground with both aviation and flight functions based on the local location characteristics.

Design Concept

Based on the planning and design theme, the park is clearly built as a demonstration site for general aviation tourism in the west. Depending on this design theme, the design team of Cowboy Group has considered the theme experience, team development, innovative research and development from three levels, and each level has corresponding design ideas, among which the theme experience level should cooperate with the construction of the park theme.Therefore, the outdoor playground equipment in the outdoor theme park should be designed around the theme of aircraft. Secondly, the team development level should provide players with theme experience, leisure and entertainment, and the function of innovative research to meet the players' function of expanding sports. Third, the level of innovative research and development is to popularize aviation-related knowledge and play the role of science education.

Conceptual Theme

The conceptual theme of the park is "Look at the stars in the desert and build a dream general aviation theme park playground." Xiaohang, as the IP character of this park, firmly believes that only by constantly pursuing dreams can dreams come true.Although the process of pursuing our dreams is full of difficulties, the moonlight and stars in the sky will illuminate our way forward. Xiaohang is very happy to meet children who have the same dream in the General Aviation Themed Park Playground and will explore the unknown together with the children, perceive heaven and earth together, and realize the dream of flying a plane into the sky.

Story Line

The story begins when the protagonist Xiaohang accidentally encounters an open colorful space tunnel door in the vast desert. Out of curiosity, Xiaohang walked into the space tunnel door and started a wonderful journey. After entering the space tunnel door, Xiao Hang was stunned by the rocket playground in front of him. He had a great time in the rocket playground.At the same time, a dream of flying was planted in Xiaohang's heart, and he immediately started his dream journey to realize his dream of flying. Xiaohang deeply understood that if he wanted to be a formal pilot, he must pass the wilderness survival, dirt training, water rescue, flying skills and other related skills, therefore, Xiaohang pushed himself, trained hard, and finally passed the test of layers, realizing his dream of piloting an airplane.Finally, Xiaohang happily shuttled through the clouds and experienced the thrill of gliding. At the same time, Xiaohang, who has clear plans for his future, is also trying to learn different types of aircraft, such as hot air balloons, delta wings, rotary aircraft, etc.

The playground of the General Aviation Theme Park has five functional areas: rocket area, dream chasing area, dream sailing area, and flight unlocking area, which respectively represent different stages in the process of Xiaohang's dream pursuit.

Rocket Zone

The rocket zone is equipped with many different types of outdoor playground equipment and the outdoor playground equipment is according to the theme of this functional area to make an appearance design, so that it can conform to the story scene and development of the storyline.Meanwhile, the rocket zone has the following outdoor amusement equipment, for example, the rocket tower playground, space station playground,micro-terrain rock climbing point,micro-terrain climbing rope,plane-shape rocking horse, creative wall, inclusive play equipment, and spinning top play equipment.

Chasing Dream Zone

The Dream Chaser area is an area where Xiaohang trains a series of skills required for formal pilots. Therefore, this area integrates a lot of outdoor playground equipment for physical training.Children can go through related training scenes of the storyline in the corresponding amusement area and outdoor playground equipment. In addition, this area also has competition rings, drill holes, rope nets, obstacle crossing equipment, corridors and large climbing net combination playgrounds, space capsule climbing equipment, sand factory playgrounds, etc.

Dream-carrying Sailing Zone

The design of the nautical area carrying dreams restores the theme scene of Xiaohang realizing his dream, flying a plane, and traveling through the clouds. Therefore, the entire area adopts an appearance design related to the theme scene.Children can have an immersive theme experience from the superior design, and they can fully imagine that they can fly in the air as pilots. The themed outdoor amusement equipment here includes a flat playground, satellite seesaw, parent-child swings, rocking horse, music area, rainbow expansion equipment, cloud trampoline, double zipline, etc.
